Chicken & Broccoli Pasta Bake
In the crockpot: (high 3-4 hours)
3 pounds of boneless skinless chicken
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 tablespoon chicken base
3 teaspoons soy sauce
1 cup of milk (or cream, we were trying to keep it a little lighter)
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon granulated onion
Half a teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 cup French’s fried onions
Later you'll need:
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups diced broccoli
1 pound pasta (cooked)
¼ cup crumbled bacon
After about 3 hours remove the chicken from the crockpot and dice it (to whatever size you like the best!)
Add chicken back into the crockpot with the sauce, your diced up broccoli & 2 cups of the shredded cheddar on low while you boil your pasta.
Preheat your oven to 350°
Lastly, in a 9 x 13 casserole dish, combine everything with the pasta and then top with the remaining cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon (optional but really good)
Bake at 350° coverd for 60 minutes.
