Crock pot, Barbecue Slow Cooked Beef (shredded)
Faux bbq brisket (shredded) in a crockpot is what I was going for here! And it's pretty close! But then I wanted to throw it on some sourdough toast, and a perfectly overmedium egg! Because why not?
SKL Barbecue Dry Rub
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon kosher salt (or less!)
1 teaspoon Chile powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon coriander
½ teaspoon dried mustard
⅛ teaspoon allspice
Crockpot on low 15 (ish) hours
Shred thoroughly.
Mix in:
¼ - ½ cup bbq sauce
1 cup chicken or beef broth
4 tablespoons butter
Keep on warm until serving
