Crockpot Cheesy, Ground Turkey, Bell Pepper & Onion Sammies
(You can precook the ground turkey in the crockpot and then add in the rest of the ingredients!) Great for potluck, tailgating or big family/crowds!
Here's the recipe:
In the crockpot:
2.5 pound pre-cooked ground turkey
8 ounces of cream cheese
3 tablespoon olive oil
2 yellow onions sliced diced
2 colored bell peppers, sliced
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
3 teaspoon beef bouillon
Cook on high for 2 hours or until veggies are tender. Then add in:
4 cups shredded cheese of choice
And then stir in and serve over toasted french bread or hoagie rolls.
