Gluten Free Classic Lasagna
You do not miss the gluten in the noodles in this recipe. This is made with lentil lasagna noodles. They're delicious! Also, the rub with love spices are gluten-free!
We used to own a gluten-free bakery and Café and this would've gone on the menu in a heartbeat!
Recipe:
In the crockpot on high for 3 hours:
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, diced
1 pound ground beef
28 oz diced tomatoes
6 oz tomato paste
6 cloves of garlic chopped
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons "Rub with Love, Serious Pie Pizza Spice"
1 tablespoon sugar
½ cup wine
Building the lasagna:
16 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
1 lb whole milk Mozzarella
2 cups shredded parmesan
8oz box of no boil yellow lentil lasagna sheets
Layer the noodles, cheese and sauce and then bake covered at 350° for 60 minutes.
Uncover for the last 15 minutes of cooking.
